Nick has over 20 years’ experience in financial services in Australia and international markets. Predominantly this time has been spent in corporate trustee services, most recently with Perpetual Trustees and its associated analytics business MARQ. Prior to Perpetual Nick spent 10 years working with JP Morgan in London, specialising in trustee services for structured products and conduits. Nick then returned to Australia with JP Morgan, which was subsequently purchased by BNY.
Tony has over 20 years’ experience in financial services, 15 of which has been spent in the domestic securitisation and structured products markets. Tony was responsible for the set-up and management of Perpetual Trustees’ full trust management operation. Tony has also held senior treasury positions at CIBC and Allco Finance Group. Tony is also a founding director of a successful invoice finance company, The Invoice Market.
Philip has over 33 years’ experience in the trustee industry. Philip spent 15 years with Perpetual Trustees, most recently as Head of Sales. Prior to Perpetual, Phil was CEO Corporate Trust of Australian Executor Trustees and spent nine years re-building their corporate trust business. In 1995 Philip was responsible for establishing and managing the Guardian Trust corporate trust business in Australia, subsequently purchased by JP Morgan (now BNY).
Kent has over 40 years’ experience in the financial services industry and is a founding shareholder of AMAL. He has been a Chairman and Chief Executive of AMAL since its inception in 1994. Previous roles have included founding shareholder and managing director of Christian McPhee & Co, founding shareholder of the Retireinvest financial planning network and director of Armstrong Jones Property Banking.
Sharon joined AMAL in 1998 and became a Director and Company Secretary in 2009. Sharon is responsible for all aspects of governance, risk and compliance across the AMAL business. Sharon has over 25 years’ experience in the banking and funds management sectors and formerly held senior management positions with Citibank and the ANZ Banking Group.
Brendan joined AMAL in 1997 and became a Director in 2000. Brendan is responsible for delivery of the businesses growth strategy and is heavily involved in the sourcing and acquisition of new customers. Brendan has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector and previously held executive positions in marketing-related positions with Portfolio Partners (formerly Norwich Investments) and National Australia Bank.
